The basketball season begins the first week in January and ends in mid-March. The playoffs begins in mid-March and continues through the end of March. The program is sponsored by the Prince Georges County Boys & Girls Club (PGCBGC). Age groups ranges from 8-17 years old for both boys and girls with several different skill level categories. The league is comprised of two conferences, American and National. Each age group winner in the respecitve conference play for the County championship that begins in mid-March. Teams usually play approximately 10-12 games depending on the number of teams in a conference.

Registration Information:

Cost is $75.00 of which $20.00 will be applied for our annual fund-raising. In the past, basketball had participated in the St. Mary's Raffle event. We will not partake in the event this year. The $20.00 is tax-deductible and you can receive a receipt for your donation if you like -- just inform the registrar that you would like a receipt when you make your registration payment.
